Frostlord on Stonehorn

A Frostlord is the supreme war-leader of a Beastclaw alfrostun, an ogor of the Ogor Mawtribes so mighty and so cold of blood that he rides the greatest monster his tribe possesses: an ancient stonehorn, a living mountain older than many of the empires it has trampled. To become a Frostlord is to have survived more winters, more battles and more starvation than any rival, and to have bonded with a beast that would as soon gore a lesser ogor as carry him. From the towering saddle atop his stonehorn, the Frostlord surveys the field as a hunter surveys a valley, choosing where the killing weight of his herd will fall. When he levels his frost-wreathed weapon and the stonehorn breaks into its ground-shaking charge, whole regiments are simply erased: hurled aside, crushed to red ruin, or scattered in blind panic before the impact even lands. He is the everwinter's chosen champion, a warlord who measures greatness in the size of the things he has broken and the fullness of the feast that follows.
