Alchemite Warforger

An Alchemite Warforger is a master of the metal-magic that thrives in the forge-cities, a wizard-artisan who treats an army as raw material to be perfected in the heat of battle. With a gesture she can harden a regiment's armour to the temper of star-iron, sharpen a hundred blades at once, or reforge a shattered weapon in the soldier's own hands.

Her art cuts both ways. Against the enemy she conjures corrosive transmutations and searing alchemical reactions, rusting weapons to flakes and boiling armour around the bodies it was meant to protect. Among the Cities of Sigmar the Alchemite guilds are prized above their weight, for a Warforger can keep a battered regiment fighting long past the point it should have broken. She walks the firing line amid the smoke and clangour, hands aglow with molten light, mending and empowering as she goes. To the Warforger there is no distinction between craft and war, for both are simply the patient bending of base matter toward a better, deadlier shape.
