Hearthguard Doomseekers

The Hearthguard Doomseekers are drawn from the most honoured warriors of the lodge, Hearthguard who have taken upon themselves an oath of doom, forsaking any hope of survival to seek a worthy death in battle. Bare-chested and heedless of danger, they march at the forefront of the Fyreslayers, each wielding a pair of war-picks that rise and fall in a tireless, murderous rhythm. Where lesser troops would falter, the Doomseekers press ever deeper into the foe, their ur-gold runes flaring brighter with each wound they suffer, for pain only sharpens their purpose. The closer death draws, the more terrible they become, cutting down champions and monsters in a frenzy of grief and glory. To fight beside them is to be shamed into greater courage; to fight against them is to face duardin who have already made peace with their end and ask only to take as many of the enemy as they can into the dark.
