Loonsmasha Fanatics

The Loonsmasha Fanatics are the mad heart of a grot mob's dirty tricks, deranged Moonclan grots pumped full of hallucinogenic fungus brew and handed a ball-and-chain far too large for their scrawny frames. Concealed within the ranks of ordinary grots, they lurk unseen until the enemy draws near, whereupon they are quite literally shoved out of the mob to go whirling into the foe. Spinning their massive iron balls in wild, unstoppable arcs, the Fanatics carve through armour and flesh alike in a blur of lethal motion, striking with a berserk abandon that spares neither enemy nor, on occasion, the very grots who launched them. There is no controlling them once loosed and no reasoning with a creature so far gone on madcap mushrooms; they simply spin until their momentum runs out or they are cut down. For the Gloomspite Gitz, the Loonsmasha Fanatics are the perfect ambush: a hidden hammer-blow that turns a fleeing rabble into a sudden and horrifying threat.
