Hobgrot Slittaz

The Hobgrot Slittaz are the treacherous foot-soldiers of the Kruleboyz clans within the Orruk Warclans, taller and craftier than common grots and greedier than either. Clad in scavenged scrap-metal and armed with hooked slitta-blades and satchels of crude iron bombs, they fight with a low cunning that their bigger orruk masters both rely upon and despise. A mob of Hobgrots opens an engagement by lobbing a hail of explosives into the enemy ranks, sowing chaos and shredding formations, then charges in to fall upon the dazed and the wounded, cutting throats and stripping the fallen of anything valuable. They have little stomach for a fair fight and none at all for a losing one, but as long as the odds look good they are vicious, opportunistic killers. The Kruleboyz value them as expendable shock-fodder and cheap muscle, and the Hobgrots, ever mercenary at heart, tolerate the arrangement so long as there is loot to be had and weaker foes to rob.
