Great Taurus

The Great Taurus is a monster of living fire and brass, a colossal winged bull whose hide smoulders like cooling iron and whose breath gusts out in searing gouts of flame. These creatures dwell in the volcanic wastes around Zharr-Naggrund, wallowing in rivers of molten rock, and only the mightiest Chaos Dwarf lords can master one, binding it with cruel sorcery and rune-scored chains to serve as a flying steed of war. Wreathed in smoke and embers, a Great Taurus descends upon the enemy like a falling star, goring with fire-wreathed horns and trampling ranks beneath red-hot hooves as its rider hews down all who remain. The heat that pours from its body is enough to scorch men where they stand and set banners alight without a blow being struck. To ride one is the ultimate mark of a Dawi Zharr sorcerer-prophet's power, a throne of flame borne aloft on thunderous wings.
