Daemonettes of Slaanesh

Daemonettes are the swift and beautiful killers of Slaanesh's legions, handmaidens of the Prince of Pleasure whose alluring grace conceals a lethal cruelty. Slender and androgynous, they move with an unnatural, hypnotic elegance that draws the eye and holds it: an instant too long, for their delicate arms end in great crab-like claws that shear through armour and flesh with effortless ease. What seems at a distance a thing of dreadful beauty resolves, too late, into a thing of dreadful appetite.

They strike with bewildering speed, dancing through the enemy ranks before mortal soldiers can bring their weapons to bear, delighting in the killing as an artist delights in their craft. Many an army has faltered at the mere sight of them, transfixed by their terrible allure in the moment before the claws fall. Led by shrieking heralds and often mounted upon the swift Steeds of Slaanesh, the Daemonettes overwhelm the foe in a rapturous, whirling storm of blades, savouring every scream as a gift offered up to their insatiable god.
