Gryphon Legion

The Gryphon Legion is the most famous regiment of Kislevite Winged Lancers ever to ride, an exiled brotherhood of noble horsemen who won undying renown in the service of the Empire far from their frozen homeland. Bearing the proud gryphon standard and the tall feathered wings that scream in the wind of the charge, they are heavy cavalry of the first rank, their lances levelled behind a wall of armour and thundering hooves. The eerie shriek of their wings unnerves enemy horses and men alike, sowing fear even before the lances strike home. Veterans of a hundred battles fought on foreign soil, the Gryphon Legion fight with a discipline and cold pride that sets them apart from common lancers, honour-bound to break the foe or die in the attempt.
