Knight Acheron

The Knight Acheron is a Cerastus-class war-engine built for the brutal work of close assault, and in the hands of the Chaos Knights it becomes a striding pyre of destruction. Its acheron pattern flame cannon vomits clinging, corrosive fire across whole formations, reducing infantry to screaming ash and stripping the paint and prayers from armoured vehicles, while its vast reaper chainfist tears through bastion walls and enemy Knights with equal ease. Swifter than the Questoris patterns, the Acheron closes the distance with terrifying speed, wading into the thickest press of the enemy to burn and rend. Corrupted by the Dark Gods, its every immolation becomes an offering, the machine-spirit exulting in the pyres it raises. Traitor Nobles who pilot the Acheron are pyromaniac butchers even among their damned kin, and where one stalks the field, the enemy learns to dread the roar of its cannon and the shadow of its blade.
