Custodian Wardens

Within an order where every member is already a master of arms, the Custodian Wardens have refined their discipline toward a single purpose: killing whatever the enemy holds most dear to send against them. Their preferred weapon, the guardian axe or the balanced guardian sword, trades a measure of the guardian spear's versatility for pure, devastating melee lethality, letting a Warden dismantle an enemy champion, monster, or war engine in the time it takes lesser warriors to draw breath.

Wardens are often the warriors a Shield Host commander sends forward first, not to hold ground but to remove whatever obstacle stands most immediately between the Host and its objective. Warlords, daemon princes, and ork warbosses who have shattered entire regiments have found themselves undone in moments by a Warden's patient, surgical violence, for these are Custodians who have made an art and a philosophy of the single decisive strike.
