Daemon Prince of Slaanesh

For the champions of the Emperor's Children, daemonhood is the ultimate perfection, the final transcendence of mortal limitation that they crave above all else. A warrior who has served Slaanesh with sufficient devotion, who has drowned worlds in sensation and offered up experiences of exquisite cruelty beyond counting, may at last be granted the Prince of Pleasure's greatest gift and be remade as a Daemon Prince, an immortal demigod of the Warp.

Such a being is a fusion of grace and horror, its form at once impossibly beautiful and utterly monstrous, crowned with horns and borne aloft upon great pinions. It retains the cunning and pride of the champion it once was, but wedded now to the raw power of the Immaterium, able to shrug off wounds that would fell a battle tank and to slaughter with languid, contemptuous ease. It was to this apotheosis that the primarch Fulgrim himself ascended, and every lord of the Third Legion dreams of following in his wake. Upon the battlefield a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh is a whirlwind of scything claws and sorcerous malice, leading the warriors of its warband as a living god and demanding of them ever greater feats of depravity to sate the hunger that immortality has only deepened.
