Casesos Cybernetica

The Casesos Cybernetica are maniples of battle-automata marched to war by the Iron Hands' cyber-theurgists, mindless engines of iron given just enough cunning to kill and no capacity at all to fear. Towering robots of the Mechanicum's darkest art, they answer the doctrina wafers of their controllers with mortar, cannon, and crushing limb, grinding forward in ranks that neither tire nor waver. To the Xth Legion they are more than mere machines, they are the creed made manifest, warriors purged entirely of the flesh that betrays, obedient where a man might hesitate and merciless where a man might relent. The clans that field them most freely are those who have wandered furthest down the necromechanical road, and there are legionaries who look upon the automata not with mastery but with something close to envy, seeing in their cold ranks the final shape of what the Iron Hands aspire to become.
