Aquilon Terminators

The Aquilon Terminators wore the rare and cumbersome Aquilon pattern of Terminator plate, a suit so demanding that only a Custodian's engineered physiology could bear it into a sustained fight. Armed with infernus firepikes, lastrum bolt weapons and twin-fanged spears, they were shock-troops for the direst work: boarding actions, breaching assaults and the storming of positions no lesser warrior could survive. The armour let them stride through fire that would immolate ordinary Terminators and strike with the strength to tear open bulkheads and battle-plate alike. Deployed sparingly, for their gear was as irreplaceable as the men within it, the Aquilon cadres were held back for the moments when a door had to be broken and the things behind it killed without pause. When they teleported into a traitor stronghold, the fighting there tended to end very quickly, and never in the enemy's favour.
