Legion Fellblade

Among the mightiest engines the Iron Warriors could bring to a siege, the Legion Fellblade was a super-heavy tank built to shatter what lesser guns could only scar. Its enormous twin-barrelled accelerator cannon hurled shells capable of gutting a bastion or annihilating an entire formation in one thunderous discharge, while sponson batteries swept the ground clear of any who fled. The IV Legion, ever contemptuous of glory won cheaply, regarded the Fellblade as the honest expression of their creed: overwhelming force applied with pitiless precision until the enemy's works were rubble and his courage ash. Hazard-striped and slab-armoured, grinding forward at the head of a siege-column, a single Fellblade could decide the fate of a stronghold before the assault companies ever advanced. To Perturabo's sons it was neither marvel nor monster, merely the largest and most certain of their many tools for breaking the unbreakable.
