Ork Stormboyz

Stormboyz are a genuine oddity among the Orks: greenskins who have fallen in love with discipline. Where their kin revel in anarchy, Stormboyz drill in ranks, march in step, polish their gear, and obey orders with a fervour that other Orks find by turns baffling and hilarious. For most it is a phase, a way for a young and restless Ork to rebel against the chaos of Ork society by embracing the one thing it despises, rules, and the mobs are heckled endlessly by the very Boyz they are trying to impress.

What lifts a Stormboy above a marching curiosity is the rokkit pack strapped to his back. This crude bundle of rockets serves as the Ork answer to a jump pack, hurling him across the battlefield in great roaring leaps to slam into the enemy line ahead of the main advance. Reliability is not among the rokkit pack's virtues, and the sight of a Stormboy corkscrewing wildly off course or augering straight into the ground is a dependable source of amusement for every Mek and Boy watching from below.

For all the mockery, Stormboyz are dangerous precisely because their discipline lends the Ork charge a focus it usually lacks. They hit hard, hit early, and hit exactly where they are told, spearheading assaults and seizing objectives with a precision most greenskins simply cannot manage. Many a defensive line has buckled under a screaming wave of Stormboyz descending from above, boots gleaming and drill immaculate, right up until the moment the choppas come out.
