Infernal Master

The Infernal Masters are among the most sinister adepts the Thousand Sons can field, sorcerers who have devoted themselves to the malevolent arts of affliction and control. Their power lies not in raw destruction but in the insidious manipulation of the warp, the crafting of curses that wither the body and hexes that erode the spirit.

Upon the battlefield an Infernal Master spreads dread and disorder. He assails the minds of the enemy, sowing confusion and terror, saps the strength from those who would stand against the Legion, and lays baleful enchantments that turn courage to despair and fortune to catastrophe. His mastery over daemonic entities is profound, and he binds the horrors of Tzeentch to his will with a facility few can match, hurling them into the fray as living weapons.

Cold, patient and deeply learned, the Infernal Master is a scholar of the darker corners of sorcery, one who understands that a foe broken in spirit is more surely defeated than one merely slain. He serves the schemes of the Thousand Sons as both battle-caster and dark counsellor, and his presence upon the field is a promise that the enemy's ruin has already been written in the language of curses. Few forces can endure the slow, grinding malice of his craft, and fewer still can strike him down before it takes its toll.
