Vyper Jetbike

The Vyper Jetbike is best understood as a Falcon shrunk to its barest essence, a light anti-grav craft that mounts a heavy weapon upon a frame scarcely larger than a jetbike. A single pilot sits ahead of a gunner, the two joined in the near-telepathic harmony that only the Aeldari can achieve, and together they wield a firepower wholly out of proportion to the machine's fragile size.

Vypers exist to strike where the enemy is weakest. Ranging ahead of the craftworld host as skirmishers and outriders, they exploit every fold in the terrain, rising suddenly to loose a scatter laser or bright lance into an exposed flank before dropping once more from view. Speed is their only armour, for the slightest concentrated fire will tear a Vyper from the sky.

Because each craft is so lightly protected, Vyper pilots cultivate an almost fatalistic grace, trusting to reflex and foresight to keep them alive. In the hands of a gifted crew the machine becomes a lethal instrument of the hit-and-run, bleeding a larger foe to death by a thousand precise and unanswerable cuts.
