Sigvald the Magnificent

In the world that came before the Mortal Realms, Sigvald was a chieftain's son so beautiful and so indulged that no one dared refuse him anything, and what began as appetite ended as atrocity. Sentenced to exile by his own father, Sigvald answered the judgment with murder and knelt instead to Slaanesh, who rewarded his new champion beyond dreaming: unaging youth, faultless beauty, and a warband of mirror-armoured knights who worshipped the prince they followed more sincerely than the god he served.

That world died, and Sigvald died with it, undone at the last by a foe too crude to appreciate him. But Slaanesh had always kept Sigvald the way a magpie keeps a jewel, and the Dark Prince does not discard what he treasures. Remade for the Mortal Realms as the Geld-Prince, Slaanesh's favoured child, Sigvald walks the realms in silvered armour bearing Shardslash, a rapier of living mirror-glass that cuts whatever Sigvald believes should yield to him, which is everything.

His vanity is total, and totally weaponised. Sigvald's memory re-cuts every defeat into triumph before the bruise has faded; his rages at the smallest slight have levelled towns; his beauty pulls armies apart at the seams, for soldiers hesitate to ruin what they cannot stop staring at. He hunts for the Dark Prince's prison as ardently as any Godseeker, though his reasons are entirely his own: a god, after all, is the only audience truly worthy of watching Sigvald be Sigvald.
