Gutter Runners

The Gutter Runners are the veteran killers of Clan Eshin, graduates of a lifetime spent in shadow and murder, and among the most dangerous skirmishers the Skaven can field. Clad in dark cloth and moving with an unnerving, flowing silence, they infiltrate the battlefield unseen, slipping through cover and around flanks to strike where the enemy is weakest. Armed with poisoned blades and clutches of whirling throwing stars slick with weeping venom, a pack of Gutter Runners can cut down sentries, savage war-machine crews, and vanish again before an alarm is raised. They are masters of ambush and misdirection, appearing from nowhere to butcher a vulnerable unit and melting away the instant the fight turns against them. No skaven trusts them, for a Gutter Runner sells his knife to the highest bidder within the clan and reports every secret he sees, but in open war, few blades are deadlier.
