Techmarine

The Grey Knights Techmarine walks a rare and demanding path, for he must be at once a peerless daemon-slayer and an initiate of the Adeptus Mechanicus, schooled upon distant Mars in the sacred mysteries of the machine. Returned to Titan, he alone may tend the Chapter's most hallowed war-engines, its Dreadnoughts, its gunships and its blessed armour, coaxing wounded machine spirits back to life amid the chaos of battle. Yet his labour carries a burden unknown to the artificers of other Chapters, for every weapon and vehicle he maintains must be consecrated and warded against the empyrean, its every rivet inscribed with litanies of protection so that it may drive through the unclean fires of the warp unbroken. In war he is no mere mechanic sheltering behind the line. Wielding the mighty servo-arm and the Grey Knights signature Nemesis weapons, he fights at the very forefront, mending shattered armour even as he shatters the ranks of the foe. Without his patient devotion the silver host would grind slowly to a halt, its relics falling silent one by one.
