Masque of the Veiled Path

The Masque of the Veiled Path take as their sacred charge the guardianship of the webway itself, that labyrinth of hidden roads upon which the survival of the scattered Aeldari depends. Their performances retell the making of the great maze and the terrible cost of its breaching, and in war they fight with grim purpose to keep its secret gates inviolate. Where daemons of the warp gnaw at a portal, or an enemy stumbles upon a hidden road, the Veiled Path descend without warning to purge the intruders and seal the breach. They range further and more secretly than almost any other Masque, appearing upon a hundred worlds and vanishing again with the knowledge they came to keep. To the Aeldari the Veiled Path are wardens of an unseen war, and many a Craftworld owes its continued existence to a battle these dancers fought in the dark, and never spoke of again.
