Legion Tactical Squad

The Legion Tactical Squad is the iron backbone of the Xth, and even in its rank and file the Legion's creed shows plainly in gleaming augmetic and unhurried, machine-steady fire. An Iron Hands tactical line does not charge or manoeuvre for advantage so much as advance and endure, taking ground metre by metre and refusing to surrender it, answering every enemy volley with the same patient and grinding discipline. Many a legionary here already bears a bionic limb or eye, small surrenders of flesh that mark him as further along the road every son of Medusa is expected to walk. They are reliable beyond the measure of most Legions, and colder too, holding fast where others would break, but a coldness that never yields can become a coldness that never bends, and the Xth would pay dearly for that rigidity in the grief-blind years after Isstvan.
