Night Raptor Squad

A Night Raptor Squad was the Eighth Legion's assault arm and the natural predator of the night battlefield, jump-pack warriors who fell upon their prey from above with pistol, blade, and calculated savagery. They favoured the dark and the ambush over the honest clash, striking at flanks and rear echelons where their sudden arrival could unravel an enemy's cohesion in moments.

More than raw shock troops, the Night Raptors were terror-hunters, taught to make each strike a lesson in fear as much as a killing blow. The scream of their descent, the trophies at their belts, the daemonic cast of their helms, all were meant to break the will of those they did not immediately kill. Through the Heresy they harried the loyalist cause across a hundred warzones, the Legion's fast and cruel edge in the endless dark of that war.
