Sslyth

The Sslyth are a species of serpentine warriors, their lower bodies great muscular coils and their torsos bearing four powerful arms, each able to wield a weapon at once. Reptilian, patient and utterly without squeamishness, they have found a peculiar place at the side of the Drukhari, serving the Archons as bodyguards and enforcers throughout the dark spires of Commorragh.

What makes the Sslyth so valued is the reliability of their loyalty in a society that knows no other kind. They crave combat-stimms and the narcotic pleasures the Drukhari can readily supply, and so long as their appetites are fed they serve without the endless scheming that taints every other subordinate. An Archon may sleep a little easier knowing coiled Sslyth guard his chamber, their four blades ready to fall upon any assassin.

In battle they are a wall of scaled muscle and whirling steel, wading into the fray to shield their master and cut down all who draw near. They fight without fear and without mercy, for the Sslyth have made their bargain with the cruellest masters in the galaxy, and they intend to be paid in full.
