The Sacrosanct Chamber

The Sacrosanct Chamber is the arcane heart of every Stormhost, forged in secret by Sigmar and the God-Queen Alarielle to answer the rising tide of undeath. Its warriors are not merely soldiers but wielders of the celestial arts, drawn from souls that burned with wisdom as fiercely as with courage, and hammered upon the Anvil into vessels of banishing power.

Among their ranks march the shield-bearing Sequitors, whose maces and greatblades glow with stormlight, and the Evocators, storm-mages who ride upon celestial dracolines and call down the lightning of Azyr. Together with the winged Castigators and the corpse-purging Ballista, they form a host purpose-built to unmake the servants of Death and cast the spirits of the damned into oblivion. These warriors of the Stormcast Eternals walk a perilous road, for the very magics that shield them gnaw at the soul.

The Sacrosanct Chamber fights where the dead walk thickest, standing beside the Cities of Sigmar when Nagash's legions crest the horizon. Their coming is heralded by a corona of blue fire, and where they pass, no ghost nor gheist may linger: only silence, and the fading echo of the storm.
