Every horde of the Bloodbound rolls forward on a tide of Bloodreavers: tribesfolk, pit-fighters, and broken soldiers who have accepted the Blood God's simplest bargain: kill, and be noticed. Lightly armoured and entirely unafraid, they swarm the enemy in shrieking packs, reaver-blades and meatripper axes doing the work that discipline does in saner armies.
Bloodreavers stand on the lowest rung of Khorne's favour, and they know it. Each dreams of climbing, of catching the Blood God's eye and being remade as something greater, and the only coin that buys ascent is slaughter. It makes them recklessly, hungrily brave, for a Bloodreaver's true terror is not death. It is dying unnoticed.
