Bastiladon

The Bastiladon is a broad, low-slung dinosaur encased in armour so thick that few weapons in the world can pierce it, a living bunker that advances with ponderous, unstoppable calm through the fiercest fire. What it lacks in speed it repays in endurance and in the burdens it bears: upon its armoured back the skinks mount ancient relics of the Old Ones, chief among them the solar engines and arks that channel raw celestial energy. From these a skink priest may loose searing beams of light that reduce ranks of the enemy to ash, or radiate wards that turn aside hostile magic. Even unburdened, the beast is a terror in close combat, its bony tail sweeping foes from their feet and its sheer weight crushing any who cannot flee its path. Patient, armoured, and lethal, the bastiladon embodies the Lizardmen at their most implacable: a slow doom that nothing can turn back.
