Cold One Riders

The Cold One Riders are the heavy cavalry of the Lizardmen, mighty Saurus warriors seated upon cold ones, low-slung reptilian predators whose cold blood renders them fearless and savage. Neither beast nor rider knows the touch of terror, and together they crash into the enemy line as an unstoppable mass of muscle, scale and iron-hard scute. The cold ones tear at the foe with raking claws and snapping jaws while their Saurus riders hew about them with spears and blades, each a killing engine bred for war by the Old Ones themselves. Slow to rouse and slower still to wheel, a squadron of Cold One Riders is nonetheless devastating once pointed at the enemy, a living battering-ram that shatters regiments and rides down the survivors. In the disciplined battle-lines of the temple-cities they form the mailed fist, held back until the moment their ponderous, irresistible charge can break the heart of the foe.
